 li’imaile Sanico first played ‘ukulele at age 8 growing up in Hawai’
 i then learned strumming patterns from her Kumu Hula\, the late Auntie Lin
 da Pi’ilani Danek. Karen has taught ‘ukulele classes &amp\; led groups
  in performances for 15+ years. She currently performs music professionall
 y with her husband\, Richard\, as the Hawaiian music group\, Leomele\, whi
