DESCRIPTION:“Kanikapila” is a Hawaiian word informally meaning “a ga
 thering to play music.” Cupertino Lodge 70 hosts a monthly kanikapila o
 pen to all. The events are free for lodge members\, but non-members are as
 ked for a nominal donation. This is a fun way to meet new people\, learn n
 ew songs and have a great time!\n\nThe house band\, Laule’a (comprised
  of members Past Nobel Grand Ron Myres\, Les Wong\, Randee Chin &amp\; Jim
  Kabage)\, leads songs from Hawai’i sung in English and Hawaiian.\n\nPar
 ticipants are encouraged to play an instrument if they have one\, dance hu
 la\, sing\, and have a good time!
