DESCRIPTION:Classes for this session will be on:  Wednesdays: July 19\, Au
 gust 16 &amp\; 30\, 2023  From 7:15 – 8:30 p.m\nFor Beginning and Inter
 mediate players from 8yrs &amp\; older\n\nGroup classes to learn:\n\nBasic
  Music Theory\, Chords\, Strumming Patterns\, and Transposition using song
 s of Hawaiʻi\n\nBring:  ʻUkulele (soprano\, concert or tenor)\, music S
 tand\, Tuner and Pencil\n\n$25 donation per person for the 3 class session
  &amp\; instruction book due at the first class on July 19th.\n\nInstructo
 r Karen Hāli’imaile Sanico first played ‘ukulele at age 8 growing up 
 in Hawai’i then learned strumming patterns from her Kumu Hula\, the late
  Auntie Linda Pi’ilani Danek. Karen has taught ‘ukulele classes &amp\;
  led groups in performances for 15+ years. She currently performs music pr
 ofessionally with her husband\, Richard\, as the Hawaiian music group\, Le
 omele\, which is Hawaiian for “a song tune.”\n\nREGISTRATION DEADLINE:
   July 17th.
