Hula Workshop

All are welcome to learn the deep Manaʻo of these two songs as Kumu teaches the dance.  Musicians are welcome to join and bring their instruments to accompany acoustically for dancers during and at the end of the classes.

5:30 to 7:00 – Pua ʻOlena

7:15 to 8:45 – Pua Lilia

Fees: 

Hula: $60 per song, $110 for both.  $100 for both, if more than 20 sign up.
Musicians:  $25 for 1 song; $50 for both.

Hula: Lyrics | Music access | Review of basics | Story and background | Video allowed using personal device.
Musicians:  Meaning of Songs | Chords | Playing techniques | Accompany Kumu during and after the lessons.
